Doraemon Mech – Retro-Futuristic Fusion

This design started with the playful image of Doraemon, a beloved robotic cat, but I wanted to give him a grittier, more mature edge. The fusion of his classic sweetness with a steampunk-cyberpunk aesthetic reflects his timeless appeal while adding a unique, rebellious twist. To create the mecha look, I meticulously layered mechanical parts onto his iconic form blending nostalgia with innovative design elements, hinting at a possible alternate timeline where Doraemon is a battle-ready automaton, ready for anything the future throws at him. Adding a hint of graffiti-style grunge adds more depth to the character.
