Zombie Emoticon – Laugh Cry Face

This design was inspired by the classic 'laugh cry' emoticon, but with a gruesome zombie twist. Our little zombie friend is clearly having a laugh, despite his... unique circumstances, tears and all. The exposed brain adds another layer of darkly comedic absurdity while highlighting a more melancholic undertone of the character. Unexpected humor plays a big role in this design.
